Hi. I'm Sara. I know it says Sarae, but that isn't my actual name. Sorry.

This site uses a mix of my beloved Georgia font, for nearly every bit of text, and the amusingly named Giddyup Std. for headers, as well as in the banner. I used to update my template every month, but then I up and left the same template on for about two and a half years. That's a long time. A really long time. So now I'm slowly redoing my template. Baby steps, folks.

All banners come from my extensive photographs,

which I take regularly and can be viewed at my flickr page. However, I do not always upload them in a timely fashion, so there may be a long dry spell, followed by a spurt of three months' worth of pictures.

Until the middle of July 2004, I used a Canon s45. It inexplicably died and I was left in a horrible month of camera uncertainty. Since the middle of August, however, I have been using a Canon G5, and have grown quite fond of it. It lets me take nice pictures which print well at 8x10" (and larger!) and has this truly awesome flip-out LCD. I really love the LCD.

You can contact me by leaving a comment, sending me email (to sarae at sarae dot net). Please inform me of typos, if you so desire. I typically do a quit edit after publishing a post, unless I'm lazy, and it really irks me to find typos later. Typos in newspapers and magazine and, well, just about everywhere also annoy me.

Other equipment I utilize is a little Dreamweaver for HTML, but typically I just use a text program like TextEdit. I upload via Transmit, a delightful FTP program whose icon is a truck. My host is Lunar Pages and I can't recall ever having a problem with them. The workhorse now behind the whole operation is the replacement to my beloved Powerbook G4, a Macbook Pro named Henry III. The first two Henries were my powerbook, followed by my powerbook's replaced hard drive. I think I might have a whole long line of Henry laptops, but then again, maybe I won't.
