November 30, 2003No, Jack, noI think it disturbs me a bit too much that Kiefer Sutherland is one of the voices in the tenth Land Before Time movie. Perhaps he's trying to atone for all the people he's "killed" in his other acting work. Or just wanted to scar the children. I'm waiting my turn in the shower, afterwhich I will rush to dress and leave. Because it's time to shop, and we're late. All right all right all right all right all right all right... Sarae at 07:58 PM | Comments (0)November 19, 2003All aboardTonight I had the most amusing bus driver. He would yell out the names of streets we were about to pass. Everytime someone would pull the thin yellow cord, he would slow the bus and shout, "It's a stop!" " At number seven, we've got "backseat sex." I find this quite amusing. I'm fairly sure I've never spoken on either of those, uh, "topics." This Robbie Fulks song, "Every Kind of Music But Country"? I love it. And it makes me giggle, because at the beginning there's a line:Sarae at 01:30 AM | Comments (3) November 03, 2003You don't want to be my advisorJust saying. Because my high school guidance counselor disappeared under suspicious, mid-year circumstances and my college one died randomly a year ago. Also, I am so thrilled that my sheets make Luke want to sleep with me (in a highly platonic manner.) They are as comfortable as they look; they should be put on my bed in less than a week. I can't wait. Sarae at 11:12 PM | Comments (1)November 02, 2003These things1) Cold. I am very cold, despite piling on an extra layer. I have been cold pretty much non-stop for the last twelve hours. 2) Tired. The last forty minutes went remarkably fast; I'm slightly suspicious that the first twenty passed quickly due to my dozing off at work. 3) Sad. Working alone today, which isn't sad so much as I crave company (I am so not a good conversationalist) but I like the added comfort of having someone to refer to. Also, knowing I get to leave on time. 4) Confused. I have no idea what I'm doing after work; Colette mentioned doing "something" but never gave explicit directions. I am being a terrible person and hoping that "something" equates to me getting to go home and nap in warm clothes and blankies. 5) Excited. I have to go home today, to return the car. I will likely be fed (piping hot!) homemade dinner. Also, I can take this opportunity to bust out the: |
