1-2-3

A number of years ago I had a nightmare concerning a Scottish Terrier. Nothing overtly frightening happened, just that I was going about my normal business when a small dog would walk up to me and stare into my eyes. I think that ominous music played at the time. It sounds stupid, but I still think about it from time to time. It was so odd.

My flickr pro account expired. It's weird to look at it and see that I only have 200 photos. It's just so bizarre.

I had a number of things that I wanted to do today, but I overslept and my schedule got all wonky. Now, I'm not sure where to start. Bleh. I blame the cold dreariness outside and lack of desire to clean. Hello, spring.

It must be Summer

I went to the Farmer's Market today, the first time that I've been since last October when Wade and Yvette were here. (Sniff!) Since it was so early (season-wise) and so late (when the market was nearly over for the day) there wasn't much there - potting plants, cut flowers, asparagus, and some odd flavored vinegar. I bought nothing.

After only walking a block from my apartment, I knew my feet were going to be a problem. I wore sandals for the first time today, but made the moronic choice of wearing the ones that have bumps on the sole. Usually the bumps feel nice - they keep the sandal from getting sweaty and sticky. But I always forget that I have to work up to wearing them, I cannot go from wearing shoes with socks for months on end, to suddenly breaking out the advanced sandals. It got to be torture, but I would not let myself go back home and change.

Now, I am afraid to look at the bottom of my feet. They feel like they're on fire, and I'm pretty sure I've got some baby blisters forming.

Changing tastes

I just cringed when, typing an email in Yahoo! mail I marveled that I liked the font. I look up and, oh, it's generic ol' Times New Roman. Otherwise known as the former bane of my existence. Does this mean I have to go back to using it all the time, that I have become bored with my standard Georgia font? Sad.
